Terms of service

1. What Rebooth is

Rebooth runs shared recovery facilities, such as a sauna, an ice bath, showers and a lounge, inside sports clubs. We also run guided sessions such as aufguss and breath and cold coaching. Facilities and sessions differ per location and may change. We can modify, suspend or stop any part of our services, with notice where we reasonably can.

2. The waitlist and founding members

Joining the waitlist is free and creates no obligation on either side. Your place on the list is personal and cannot be transferred. Being on the list does not make you a founding member. It gives you the news first and the first chance to become one, ahead of the public, when bookings open. Founding member benefits, such as a rate locked for the life of your membership or a free first session, are offered under the conditions we communicate at that time and for a limited number of memberships. A founding rate applies as long as the membership stays active without interruption.

3. Sessions, passes and memberships

Once bookings open you can buy single sessions, passes or memberships through our booking platform. Prices, validity periods, pause and cancellation rules are shown at the time of purchase and form part of these terms. Unless stated otherwise:

  • Single sessions and passes are paid upfront, valid for the stated period, personal and non-refundable.
  • Memberships renew automatically per billing period until cancelled. Cancel before the next billing date through the booking platform. Paid periods are not refunded.
  • We may change prices for future periods with reasonable notice. If you do not agree, you can cancel before the change takes effect.
  • Sessions have limited capacity. Book a slot and arrive on time. Late arrival may mean the slot is gone.
  • Cancel or move a booked session up to 24 hours before it starts through the booking platform, subject to availability. Later than that, the session counts as used.

4. Your account and payments

You are responsible for the accuracy of your account details and for keeping your login private. Payments run through our booking platform and its payment providers. By paying you confirm you may use the payment method. If a payment fails we may suspend access until it is settled.

5. Age

Our facilities are for people aged 18 and over. Minors from 16 may take part only with a parent or guardian present and with written consent. We may ask for identification.

6. Health and safety

Heat and cold are serious. Sauna and ice bath use carries real risks, including fainting, cold shock and worsening of existing conditions. You take part at your own risk and confirm each time that you are fit to do so.

Do not use the facilities if you are under the influence of alcohol or drugs, have an open wound, an infection, a fever, or are feeling unwell. Talk to your doctor first if you are pregnant, have a heart condition, high or low blood pressure, epilepsy, a pacemaker or implant, circulation problems, or any other condition that heat or cold could affect. Where we ask, provide the information honestly. We may refuse access if we believe a session is unsafe for you.

Follow the instructions of our staff and the house rules at all times. Stop immediately if you feel unwell and tell a staff member. In an emergency you authorise us to call medical help on your behalf.

A safe rhythm for most people: sauna up to 10 to 12 minutes, cool down for at least 5 minutes, shower, then the ice bath for 30 seconds to 2 minutes depending on how it feels. Start shorter if you are new to it. Drink water. Listen to your body.

7. House rules

Rebooth is a shared space. Be considerate. Shower before the sauna and the ice bath. Wear swimwear. Sit on a towel. No phones or cameras in the facilities without consent of everyone in the picture. No glass. Respect the host club's rules.

Not allowed: disruptive or aggressive behaviour, harassment, intimate contact or sexual behaviour, drugs, and anything that spoils the atmosphere for others. We may refuse entry to anyone who is intoxicated. We may ask anyone who ignores these rules to leave immediately without compensation, and may suspend or end their membership without refund. Serious cases go to the police.

You are liable for damage you cause to our facilities, equipment, the host club's property or other guests, including extra cleaning or repairs.

8. Liability

To the extent Dutch law allows, we are not liable for injury, illness, loss or damage arising from your use of the facilities and sessions, except where caused by our intent or gross negligence. We are not liable for loss or damage to personal belongings. Use the lockers and keep valuables at home. Where we are liable, our liability is limited to the amount you paid us in the twelve months before the event, or the amount our insurer pays, whichever is higher.

9. Closures and changes

Facilities may close for cleaning, maintenance, private events, host club events or reasons outside our control. We will tell you where we can. Short closures do not give a right to a refund. For longer closures of a location we will offer a reasonable solution, such as pausing memberships.

10. Content and intellectual property

The Rebooth name, logo, texts, photos and website belong to us or our licensors. Do not copy or use them commercially without our written permission.

11. Personal data

We handle your personal data as described in our privacy policy, which forms part of these terms.

12. Complaints

Something wrong? Tell us at hello@rebooth.com and we will get back to you within five working days. Consumers in the EU can also use the European online dispute resolution platform.

13. Changes to these terms

We may change these terms. The current version is always on the website. For members we announce meaningful changes by email at least one month before they take effect. If you do not agree, you can cancel your membership before that date.

14. Applicable law

Dutch law applies. Disputes go to the competent court in the Netherlands, unless mandatory consumer law says otherwise.
